Our discussions are in full swing, so stick around to see what we are tackling this week.
What you may have missed…
Last week, we discussed the importance and foundation of acceptance and inclusiveness in combating hate and bigotry of the LGBT community.
We also, as a part of this dialogue, looked at various religious responses to this subject, diving into the background and support for being inclusive and affirming of others.
We finished on the importance of love in our interactions and engagement with the world around us.
This Week
We are engaging in conversation regarding gender identities and the understanding of the gender spectrum.
We will, as a part of this conversation, look at various responses and reactions to this subject from philosophy, religion and culture, and evaluating it’s importance to both our purpose here at Wesley, and our engagement with the world.
