Wesley Weekly #57 – The Mystery of the Director

Hello Everyone, and welcome back to the Wesley Foundation at MSU.

We’re approaching the end of the semester, and the final sessions of the year.

So stick around to see what the students want to hear about.

What you may have missed…

Last week the Wesley Foundation took a trip to the movie theatre to spend some community time together.

We saw Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves, and simply enjoyed each others company.

The week before we deeply examined the movie God’s Not Dead, and evaluated the fear mongering worldview it creates, and its inability to both understand philosophy or a broader understanding of God’s love for others.

This Week

As director, my goal was to make this group focused on what mattered to students. I wanted it to be dynamic, relevant, and authentic to them, and as such I have always to take myself out of the equation as much as possible.

However, this being my final full session, the students asked if I would share my own story and so I agreed to. While my life has been tumultuous, it has always been guided by the simplest of principles, love.

If you have something you would like to write for us, or interesting questions you would like to ask us, send us a message on any of our social media or on our contacts page!

That’s all for this week’s edition of Wesley Weekly! Don’t forget to like and follow our FacebookInstagramYouTube, and Twitter pages so you’ll never miss out!
