Wesley Weekly #47 – Beginnings

Welcome back to Wesley at MSU everyone! We’ve started our new semester with our new theme. So please stick around to see what we are tackling this term!

What you may have missed…

Last week we discussed what theme and subjects we would be looking at for this semester.

Eventually we decided to go with the theme of “Foundations and Failures of Christianity”.

As such this will be much more of a cultural/historical semester with dives into theological developments and their impact on world history.

This Week

This week we are going to look at the beginning of the Christian movement from it’s roots as a Jewish sect until the start of Constantine’s reign.

The early Christian community faced numerous challenges, and had a particular mindset and worldview focused on support and encouragement.

The MSU Wesley Foundation has restructured our Patreon page and we would be grateful if you would check it out! If you would like to donate, please visit our Patreon!

Prayers and Concerns

If there is anything you would like the community to pray for, send us a message, or reach out to us on our social media pages.

If you have something you would like to write for us, or interesting questions you would like to ask us, send us a message on any of our social media or on our contacts page!

That’s all for this week’s edition of Wesley Weekly! Don’t forget to like and follow our FacebookInstagramYouTube, and Twitter pages so you’ll never miss out!
